Lutheran Schools Week Coming in March
Annual Lutheran Schools Week celebrations are being planned across the Northern Illinois District to take place in March. Schools will celebrate with special visitors and activities that take them into their communities. What St. Paul, Oak Lawn (photo at left) has planned is just a sampling of what will take place that week: special church services, a pancake breakfast, Grandparent Day, a bowling field trip, Crazy Hair Day, and guest presentation by The Froglady, a professional naturalist. (If you'd like information about St. Paul, Oak lawn, call 708-423-1040.) There are some 2,500 Lutheran schools that serve over 240,000 children nationwide.
